Baleigh Hull began her career with McCarty Architects in the summer of 2020 after graduating from Mississippi State with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. At the firm, Baleigh specializes in higher education projects, including sports fields, housing and academic buildings. She also has experience with government buildings and residential design.

Before joining McCarty, she held multiple architectural internships in Starkville and Columbus, Miss., where she focused on community development. Baleigh was awarded the 2020 Arts and Humanities Award for her research into low-income housing done at Mississippi State’s Undergraduate Research Symposium. In 2021, she was awarded the Burris Wagnon Travel Scholarship to study abroad and tour Renzo Piano’s “Water Projects” which exemplify how a building can adapt to the context, respect historical culture and emphasize environmental differences.

Outside of work, Baleigh is involved with the Tupelo Women’s Club and Tupelo Young Professionals and enjoys spending time with her labradoodle Renzi.
