Positioned prominently at the front door of Tupelo High School, this project scope initially called for three buildings, but was increased to four and still completed well under the owner’s budget. The project features include a Performing Arts Center, complete with proscenium stage, orchestra pit and rehearsal hall, a 20-classroom Freshman Complex, Vocational Technology Career Center, and state-of-the-art Library & Media Center. Also included in the project were renovations for a Freshman Commons area, additional Career Center Classrooms, and a 250-car parking lot expansion.

Because the main focus of the student population for NEMCC at Corinth was to provide a more convenient location for those seeking a new or second career, McCarty Architects transformed an existing industrial building into a Job Workforce Training Center and Extension Center for the main Booneville campus. The interior infill included a computer lab, classrooms, science lab, library and administrative functions. Completed in 2006, this was a 75,000 SF facility with a 57,000 SF interior infill.
